Prophetic Art
Hearing From God Through Art | "My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me" John 10: 27​
This course is designed to take you on a journey of learning how to go deeper in hearing from God through using the tools of creativity.
My prayer is that these encounters will take you deeper in hearing from God and help to unlock the barriers to hear clearer and stronger clarity from Him.
You do not have to be an artist, God will speak to you through your simplest of splashes of paint and squiggles on water colour paper.
An important part of the course is journaling what God is speaking to you through your art pieces and interpreting what He is saying. You will learn how to go deeper in your prayer time with our Heavenly Father.
Why Connect With God Through Art
Inspiration and Guidance:
The Holy Spirit can guide and inspire individuals in their creative endeavours, including art-making, by providing insights, ideas, and messages that can be expressed through artistic expression (John 14:26).
Symbolism and Meaning:
Art can serve as a powerful medium for conveying spiritual truths, symbols, and messages that may resonate with the individual's faith and beliefs, allowing the Holy Spirit to communicate through visual imagery and metaphors (Psalm 19:1-4).
Reflection and Revelation:
Engaging in art as a form of prayer, meditation, or worship can create a space for reflection, contemplation, and spiritual revelation, where the Holy Spirit may speak to the individual's heart and soul through the creative process (1 Corinthians 2:10-12).

Personal Connection:
Through art-making, individuals may experience a deeper sense of connection with God, the Holy Spirit, and their own spiritual journey, fostering a personal relationship and dialogue that transcends words and logic (Romans 8:26-27).

Discernment:
It is important for individuals to discern the source of spiritual experiences and messages received through art, seeking guidance from trusted spiritual mentors, prayerful reflection, and alignment with biblical teachings to ensure that they are in accordance with God's will and truth (1 John 4:1).
Prophetic art can be defined as the visual form of prophecy. It is a spiritual gift.
Prophetic art carries a message from the heart of God to strengthen, encourage, and comfort.
Corinthians 14: 1-3
14 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragingand comfort.
Connecting With God Through Art
This workshop is designed to help equip and activate you in hearing from God for yourself and others. It is also for you to recognise the creativity God has placed within you.
Through a variety of different art activities you will get to explore how God speaks to you through the creative expression of art.

God's language is not always with words. He uses many different ways to communicate with us. Such as scripture, testimonies, music, dreams, visions, creation and prophecy.​
You don't require experience in art to do this course, as it is really about what God is revealing to you through the art. It is about opening your heart to hear from God for yourself and exploring what he has to show you.
However, during the course you will also be shown different techniques and how to use different art materials.

There are many different types of ways that Prophetic Art can be used and over the day we will be exploring a few of these ways.

​Individual – Intimacy with God. Spending time with God and asking him to show you things (hearing and seeing through him) could be through scripture, worship music, asking him questions etc..
